Kelly Morana-Piazza, LMHC
Kelly Morana-Piazza has provided therapy to hundreds of people struggling with their mental health. Helping people change their lives is the reason she became a therapist. That’s what motivates her to always do her best for each and every patient.
In 2015, Kelly was Ken DeCesare’s therapist. Kelly taught Ken to replace his old behaviors with proven, effective techniques and strategies that not only helped him in his own recovery but is now the treatment philosophy for Recover.
In 2016, Kelly helped start a nonprofit organization called Invest in Recovery to help people in recovery re-enter the workforce & rebuild their lives. Her goal was to provide free resume writing, interview training and hold job fairs connecting people in recovery looking for work with employers across the Greater Orlando area who were hiring and who believed in the power of second chances. Her work with Invest in Recovery has been written about and covered by FOX 35 Orlando, the Orlando Sentinel, and The Recovery Village.
And working together with her former patient, Ken, they launched what is now Recover with a mission to bring effective and affordable mental health care to everyone.
Kelly received her Masters in Masters of Professional Studies and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from St John’s University in New York.
Kelly’s belief in the potential of everyone to change their life has already helped change many lives and will change countless more.
