The cost of our non-clinical services starts at only $49. Which we are proud to say is by far the most affordable online support for FMLA and workplace or academic accommodations.
-
Any additional costs for an FMLA NOW or Fair Exams membership which includes 24/7 support, access to evidence-based patient education and ongoing documentation requests from your employer, academic institution or insurer will depend on the type of certification you’re seeking and what is determined to be appropriate for your specific circumstances. This will be discussed with you during your evaluation, as well as thoroughly within the consents and disclosures you receive thereafter.
-
Recover is not a healthcare provider. We work with independent doctors across the U.S. to provide non-clinical services such as care coordination, patient education and 24/7 support which enables them to perform and review evaluations required for FMLA or ADA certification.
*When a doctor performs an evaluation for the benefit of a third party rather than treatment for the benefit of the patient, a patient-provider relationship is not created. When the evaluation is required by or exclusively benefits a third party such as an employer (i.e. preemployment physical), insurance company (i.e. life insurance qualifying examination), or the courts (i.e. independent medical examination), no patient-provider relationship and corresponding tort duty is established, because treatment or diagnosis in contemplation of treatment is not undertaken (State v. Supreme Court of Georgia 2005).
-
The independent doctors we work with are licensed clinical psychologists (PhD/PsyD) who have years of experience performing evaluations for mental health conditions.
