Founded by a
former patient
and his therapist.

In 2014, after struggling with his mental health for more than a decade, Ken DeCesare hit rock bottom and finally decided to get help. With help & guidance from an exceptional therapist named Kelly Piazza, Ken learned the skills he needed to recover his mental health once and for all. Ken & Kelly later founded what is now Recover and have made it their mission to help others do the same.

Ken And Kelly

Motivated and
inspired by our
own experiences.

Every member of our team has been personally impacted by mental health. Whether by their own personal struggle or a loved one’s. This not only provides us with a clear perspective and deep understanding of the people that Recover helps, but it motivates us to keep pushing and not give up where others might – because it’s personal.

Our Founders

Ken DeCesare

Ken DeCesare’s personal struggle with mental health for over a decade – almost losing his life before finally hitting rock bottom, finding recovery and rebuilding, is what motivates him to help other people change their lives.

Kelly Morana-Piazza, LMHC

Kelly Piazza has provided therapy to hundreds of people struggling with their mental health. Helping people change their lives is the reason she became a therapist. That’s what motivates her to always do her best for each and every patient.
