Dr. Lisa Wilke, PsyD

Dr. Wilke is a licensed psychologist with a background in providing therapeutic interventions and psychological assessment. She specializes in helping adults who have experienced work related burnout, stress, anxiety, grief, and trauma. She has a passion for helping people learn how to obtain more fulfilling lives. She often utilizes evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help patients alleviate distress. She strives to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment to allow space for individuals to share their story, obtain support, and experience real lasting change.

Dr. Wilke has earned her master’s degree in counseling and a doctorate in psychology from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, primary care, corrections, forensics, and private practice. In addition to her clinical experience, Dr. Wilke has provided supervision, consultation, and mentorship to social workers, counselors, nurses, medical doctors, psychology students, and other psychologists.

She has joined Recover as a practicing psychologist to support the review of evaluations and assessments to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of accommodations. Recover’s mission aligns with Dr. Wilke’s values, as she has seen firsthand how difficult it can be to access necessary accommodations. In addition to Recover, Dr. Wilke continues her therapeutic work in private practice. Outside of practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, writing, and relaxing near a body of water.
